Executive Board
LYNN SCHNURNBERGER
Founder & Executive Director
Lynn was a Special Consultant in Education to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and was the founding director of The Cloisters Summer Workshop Program. In this role, she annually introduced 150 inner city children to a variety of art programs, and helped make children who had never set foot before in a museum feel comfortable and entitled to be part of a cultural institution. As an artist whose work is included in worldwide collections, she is also a best-selling author, and has written extensively about children’s issues for publications such as The New York Times, Reader’s Digest, and New York magazine.
ZOË CHESWICK
Program Director
As Director of Operations and Youth Programs for Bike NY, Foster Pride’s Program Director Zoë Cheswick established a Summer Youth Employment Program with the Department of Youth and Community Development; developed and oversaw Bike NY’s After School Program (500 students), Summer Camp (1200 students;) and School Age Assembly Program for 10,000 students to teach city youth the fundamentals of bike safety. She created and implemented a data tracking system and co-managed a $1,000,000 Education Department budget. She has even had the pleasure of teaching Muppets Murray and Ovejiuta from Sesame Street how to ride a bike. A native New Yorker, Zoë holds an MFA from The New School in Theater Arts.
ONYEDIKA CHUKE
Development Director
Onyedika Chuke is an artist and archivist born in Onitsha, Nigeria, and is a Foster Pride graduate. His largest body of work titled The Forever Museum Archive (2011-present), is a disquieting collection of objects, text and images in which Chuke analyze social, cultural and political structures. His archive have been supported by venues such as Queens Museum, The Sculpture Center and The American Academy in Rome.
A graduate of Cooper Union, as a NYC Artist in Residence Onyedika worked with the Department of Cultural Affairs and the Department of Corrections, Rikers Island. He is also the owner/director of Storage, a Tribeca art gallery featuring the work of emerging and established artists.
ROSANNE KANG JOVANOVSKI
Media Director & Los Angeles Program Director
Rosanne Kang Jovanovski is a writer, director, producer, and global Executive Creative Director in branding, experiential design, graphic design and illustration. From interior and event design to branding in beauty, spirits and hospitality, Rosanne has worked with brands such as Elle Decor, Suntory Whiskies, L’Oréal, Kiehl’s, La Prairie, Starbucks, and Toyota. Rosanne has also worked in the art department of film and television shows for Netflix, NBC and CBC. Rosanne recently helped to found the Los Angeles Chapter of Foster Pride, and for the past thirty years she has been a teacher and mentor – she is also an active Governing Board Member.
